Originally from the Boise, Idaho area, I began my career working as a DDA with children and adolescents with developmental delays, then adapted into helping families and individuals. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2011 followed by completing Idaho State University’s Counseling Program in 2014 and graduating with a Master of Mental Health Counseling.

My primary theoretical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However I also utilize a variety of approaches depending on the need/desire of my client. I hold certifications in Accelerated Resolution Therapy(ART), Safe and Sound Protocol(SSP), Clinical telemental health professional(CCTHP), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional(CCTP), Animal Assisted Intervention(AAI) and am now a registered supervisor for those seeking licensure both LPC and Clinical as well as provide professional consultations.

I have extensive experience working with child and adolescent victims of sexual abuse and a variety of other trauma, as well as attachment issues such as Reactive Attachment Disorder. I use principles from Nancy Thomas's Healing Hearts Camp to address these issues. I also have knowledge and experience working with families struggling with sibling and parent conflict issues, anxiety disorders, depression disorders, PTSD, Bi-Polar, Domestic Violence, Relationship issues, self-esteem and identity issues.

In 2021, Caitlin started working with youth, as a behavior tech. She enjoys building rapports with kids and supporting them in their education. Caitlin’s favorite pastime would be a summer one, near a body of water with her kids and family! She is proud of her Puerto Rican family roots and hopes to visit Aibonito one day, where her mom was born.

I love working with your kids!  My background is in working with students who have learning disabilities to improve their reading and writing skills.  I've lived in Pocatello for over 30 years, and have four kids (three living).  I love to read, garden, decorate the house, and have fun.

Originally from La Grande, Oregon, I have lived in the Pocatello area since 2022. I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish in 2025 and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Counseling at Idaho State University, with a focus in Clinical Mental Health. Now in my second year, I serve as both a Counseling Intern and a Community-Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) provider. With a foundation in athletics and a strong belief in holistic wellness, I am also completing certification in Animal-Assisted Therapy and look forward to integrating animals into my clinical work starting in July 2025. My experiences connecting with people from a variety of cultures—both locally and abroad—have shaped her belief in meeting each client with respect, curiosity, and cultural humility. I am dedicated to continued growth as a clinician and looks forward to building meaningful, collaborative relationships as I support the diverse needs of the Pocatello community.
