Growing up in a big family, I was always surrounded by babies and kids and quickly became the “official babysitter” for cousins, siblings, friends, and neighbors! Over time, I realized I didn’t just enjoy caring for children, I absolutely love it!! I enjoy spending time in nature, going on walks, and cozy days at home reading with my cat. I’m so excited to be part of the P.A.A. team and can’t wait to get to know everyone!

I was born and raised in Pocatello into a large family of 6 girls. I was the second oldest and loved being very hands-on in helping raise my younger sisters. I began babysitting as soon as I was old enough to take the babysitting CPR class at the hospital. I was blessed to be raised by a mother who was an early childhood teacher who worked and continues to work at Head Start. I've been around children pretty much my entire life in some capacity. I have worked in childcare centers, I worked for the early intervention program for 8 years, and I just finished my 4th year at Head Start. I have also worked with children and teens 8-18 with special needs. Working with children is what I love to do and what I am passionate about. I love being able to make a positive difference in their lives and feel truly blessed to be a part of their growth.

My future plans are to get enough money for a college education that has things that I’m passionate about ( Fashion Design) and to get a car. I have a wonderful family of my parents and five siblings who I love and my pets. Without my parent’s help I would not have this awesome job that has been really helpful. I love my family and friends they have always supported me through my life.

enjoying time with her husband, daughter, and their four dogs—soaking up fresh air and making
the most of family time together.

My name is Cali and I’m originally from Washington state born and raised. I moved to idaho about 6 years ago. I’m 37 years old and a proud mom of three teenagers, which has taught me a lot about patience, understanding, and adaptability—qualities I bring to my work every day. I earned both of my bachelor’s degrees in Applied Behavioral Science and Early Childhood Education from Ashford University, and I’m currently pursuing my master’s in Psychology at Capella University. My education has given me a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and development, and I’m passionate about using that knowledge to support people in my community. Outside of work, I love to read and go hiking whenever I have spare time, which helps me stay balanced and energized. This work is really meaningful to me because it allows me to make a positive impact on people’s lives every day.
